Naminé stood in front of the mirror; Xion lacing up the back of the long white dress of her friend's. It fitted her perfectly, and as Xion finished up, she smiled, "You look beautiful, Naminé."

The woman blushed a rosy pink at the sentence. "Do you think he'll think so, too?" She asked as she handed her raven-haired woman a beautiful orange flower that she stuck in her hair, just above her ear.

"Of course I think so! Honestly, you could drape on rags and newspapers, and Ven would still think you are the most gorgeous woman in the universe," Xion said, helping the blonde pin the veil into her hair.

"There's just one thing missing," Kairi walked in, carrying a familiar ornament in her hand.

"My hair pins!" Naminé exclaimed at the sight of her two beloved hair pins, a brownish pink color with roses at the ends of them. She inserted them on the right side of her head, pinning back a strand of bangs. Of course, Kairi had her blue flower and ribbon pinned to her hair as well, a gift from Naminé and Xion, as they all exchanged the gifts back in high school, and always wore them on the most special occasions.

The three took one last look in the mirror, feeling successful with their appearance. Kairi was dressed a pink, knee-length halter dress, while Xion's dress looked the exact same, except for the fact that hers was a purple color.

"So, Naminé, are you ready for this?" Xion asked, handing the blonde her bouquet of white roses, her favorite flower.

She studied the roses for a minute, then replied, "Yes, definitely!"

Kairi looked up at Naminé, "Ventus is a lucky man."

"As I am the lucky woman," she replied to the statement, smiling brightly.

"Okay! Let's get this wedding started!" Xion exclaimed, opening the doors of the dressing room.

----

"You're awfully excited for the first day of school," Kairi said to Xion, who replied with a smile.

"I love how we have these wonderful hair accessories that we bought before school started. They really suit us, don't they?" Naminé touched the pins in her hair and giggled. With these accessories, everyone could tell they were a trio, the best of friends.

"Yep! They make us look great! Anyway, let's get to our homeroom. Isn't this great? First day of high school, and we have almost all of our classes together! Unlike last year, when we hardly saw each other," Xion huffed at the thought of middle school. The three girls only had one class together.

Kairi took a seat at the table in the back, saving the two other seats for her best friends. Once class started, the teacher, Mr. Strife, walked in, with a boy behind him, smiling brightly. "Class, I am so happy to be teaching you this year in English 9. We have a new student. Please welcome your new classmate, Ventus Daisuke."

Ventus walked into the room and sat down next to Sora and Riku, only after catching a certain blonde girl's eye. She blushed at the contact, looking down, trying to make herself quit blushing at the new boy. After all, they've only seen each other for about a minute?

Xion and Kairi giggled. "Our little Naminé is already falling head-over-heels for the new boy? How cute! We should help her out by introducing her to him," they squealed, making Naminé blush even a deeper shade of read.

"Guys, quit it, I don't like him," she denied. How humiliating it was, having your best friends tease you in the middle of English class. What if the rest of the class heard? She would never hear the end of it.

"At least introduce yourself to him, okay? We won't pester you to date him," Kairi reassured the bashful girl, with Xion nodding in agreement. "Besides, you'll thank us later," Xion giggled.

"Okay fine, I'll introduce myself, how about after school?"

"After class," Xion corrected her, to which she grumbled, "Okay fine, after class."

When that time actually came, Naminé was walked up to Ventus, who smiled at her kindly, while she was being shoved closer to him by a giggling pair of girls. "Hi… I'm Naminé," she glanced back and glared at Xion and Kairi, signaling them to leave her alone. They smiled and nodded, then proceeded to leave the English room, making Ventus and Naminé the only people in the room.

"Hi! I'm Ventus, but you can call me Ven!" he greeted with a friendly smile, making the girl blush. He's so nice! And they just met!

"So, ummm… do we have any classes together, besides this one, of course," she stuttered. The flaxen haired girl could feel her hands get sweaty. Never had she been this nervous talking to a boy before. But then again, she hasn't ever talked to someone who was that cute and nice to her that she just met. Normally, it would be a couple of days until one or the other warmed up to each other.

Ven pulled out his schedule and compared it to hers. "Looks like three other classes. That's good! That means we could hang out more!" The bell rang, making the pair late for their next class.

"I guess I'll see you in fourth period, then?" Naminé asked, walking with him to the set of lockers to grab the books for the next class.

"I guess. See you then!" He waved goodbye and walked to his next class.

As the girl slipped into class, she was caught by the teacher, was scolded, and then sent to sit by Xion and Kairi, since they saved her a spot. "So," Xion whispered, "you guys talked?"

"Yeah."

"And?" Kairi asked in anticipation.

"He's really nice," Naminé blushed at the thought of Ven and her becoming great friends, and possibly more. "I'm thinking of being friends first, though, before I think of dating."

"Of course," they agreed.

Ven and Naminé did become great friends, and within a few months, Ventus came up to Naminé red-faced, and asked, "Naminé, this may be sudden, but will you go out with me? I really like you!"

The blonde girl looked at him, shocked at his courage to ask her out. He really likes her? She lo- I mean, she really liked him as well. Her face turned instantly red, and nodded yes, for every word she tried to form wouldn't come out.

"Wait, you said yes?" She nodded again. "This is the best day of my life!" And without thinking, he kissed her. Right on the lips out of excitement of finally getting the girl of his dreams. When he realized what he just did, Ven pulled back immediately and touched his lips, with Naminé mirroring his actions. "Oh… I didn't mean- I'm sorry! I hope you aren't mad at me or anything!" He begged.

She just stood there, not knowing what to do. The kiss lasted only a second, but right as they pulled apart, Xion and Kairi walked into the room. "What's with you two there? Just kind of staring at each other, with red faces…" Kairi paused right there. The girls looked at each other simultaneously, then squealed. "You didn't just kiss, did you?" Xion ran up to Naminé and swept her into a bear hug. "I just knew this would happen! About time you two got together!"

"I-I-I…umm…we didn't…did…I mean-" Ventus stuttered, while speechless Naminé stood there, trying to think of something to say. At last, she got her words together and said, "Yeah, you're right, Xion, Kairi. It didn't take that long before we got together."

----

"I do."

"With the powers invested in me, I now pronounce you, husband and wife. Ventus, you may kiss your bride!" The red haired priest exclaimed. To which Ventus happily did. "Ladies and gentlemen, for the first time, Ventus and Naminé Daisuke! Got it memorized?" He announced as the two happily walked down the isle, hand in hand, as the guests clapped.

Xion leaned over to Naminé and whispered, "Told ya you would thank me later," she winked.

"Most definitely. Thank you, Xion, Kairi, for everything."

"It's our pleasure," Kairi smiled.

"Now, quit talking to us and go spend time with your husband, Mrs. Daisuke," Xion teased.

Naminé smiled, "Of course!"
I wrote this especially for Sae :iconspirasen: cause I know she loves her VenNami! Of course it mentions Karu :iconkarudoll: and Shui :iconshui37:. And you do not even know how many times I wanted to write Karu instead of Xion in this!

I really hope you like it, Sae-sama! >w<

Oh, and special thanks to :iconfoxlost: for giving me the idea by telling me "Write how Ven and Namine met, and when they first fell in love." So she gave me the idea! Thank you!

I do not own Kingdom Hearts, and never has it belonged to me. It belongs to Disney and Square Enix.
